Collection: Jake Thompson

Jake Thompson is a photo- based artist from Portland, Oregon. He began making photographic work at age 14, and now currently lives in New York City where he studies photography and video at the School of Visual Arts. Over this time, his photographic sensibility has ranged from street photography and landscapes to editorial and narrative fine art work. Through his images, Jake takes a nuanced look at the how the political and existential merge together to dramatically effect everyday environments.
